You Can Truly Do Whatever You Want

podcast Jun 25, 2022

This episode is here to remind you that you truly can do whatever you want and that it's safe to follow your alignment.

In this episode, we're chatting about:

✧ How I've been really testing the limits of what my mind thinks I'm "allowed" to do the last few months
✧ What happened when my intuition told me to go to a coffee shop even though I was "supposed to" be doing an inner voice session with a client
✧ Why you don't need to withhold your own alignment for fear of what others will think about it or how they will react to it
✧ Why alignment is an inside job (meaning your alignment isn't anyone else's job and anyone else's alignment isn't your job)
✧ The magic that's unfolding the more I lean into allowing and letting go
✧ Living from a place of alignment with who you really are

Hello, and welcome to the Magnetically You Podcast. I'm your host Madison Surdyke, I am a mindset energy coach here to help you feel your freakin best and manifest a life full of magic miracles and abundance. I know that whatever led you here did not happen by coincidence. So I am so excited and grateful to have you here. So let's let the magic begin. Hi, and welcome back to the magnetically you podcast, I'm recording today's episode on a walk, because I just got inspired to share a message that I'm feeling really, really excited about right now. So I figured I'd go ahead and record it. So bear with me on the audio I have my earplugs on. So I think it'll be pretty good. But anyways, should be a pretty short message. So what I want to remind you today, you can do whatever you want, there literally are no rules, you are that free. And anything that tells you you are not that free, is an illusion of the mind. So what kind of just this just came to me as I was like walking, and I've been having such an amazing day feeling so free doing whatever the fuck I want. And really the last, you know, few weeks, I've just and even few months, I've just been really testing the limits of what my mind thinks I'm allowed to do and not allowed to do. And I've done so many things my mind thinks I can't do or shouldn't do, like, not really posting on Instagram at all. And it's fine. And I love it. And I feel great and more businesses coming. Or, like this morning I went to I really wanted to go to this coffee shop and get this cappuccino that I've been obsessed with lately. And I just felt this super clear impulse to going to getting a cappuccino. But Trevor was at the office today, and we have one card that we share. So he's gonna have to Uber, so my mind didn't really love that. So it was kind of using God as an excuse. And I also had a client session in like an hour and a half in the coffee shop was like 25 minutes away. So it just I My mind was like, I'm not going to get an Uber ride 20 minutes to coffee, pick it up Uber home, to get back to this session. Like that doesn't feel fun. Like I just want to go be at the coffee shop and then see what happens. And I had the client session. So my mind was like, you can't go because you have other clients I should. And I was like, Okay, I've known, especially from these last few months of really testing the limits of my wife, while my mind thinks I'm allowed and not allowed to do is that it's safe to follow my alignment. And things always unfold and workout better than my mind could have predicted when I do. So order the Uber, I get in an Uber, I'm like, I'm going like I'm not willing to not follow my alignment and follow my mind at the expense of myself. So I got in the Ober. I emailed the client, and I was like, hey, is there any way we can move this session back a couple hours today? Or do you want to meet tomorrow? And she was like, Oh, my gosh, this is so perfect. I actually have had like a crazy day, can we reschedule for next week? Just like, I'm fucking course. Of course, it was perfect for her to reschedule and, you know, it's like, your alignment is not at the expense of someone else's alignment. And oftentimes, we're trying to contort ourselves into what the mind tells us that we think we have to do or that we're allowed to do. And really, it's so that we can avoid punishment, or disapproval from others or seek approval from others. And guess what? It's like, I would rather follow alignment. Because that is what I know is true for me, than to contort myself, to what I think is going to influence someone else's alignment, like if my alignment and my actions, pull them out of their own alignment. I didn't pull them out of their own alignment, their own alignment meter is within them. And my alignment meter isn't within me. So this has actually come up recently. Hopefully I'm making sense. But this has actually come up recently quite a few times with Trevor to where I noticed the minds tendency to think that it can't do something because how will it influence the other person? So, for example, Trevor and I went to yoga on a workday for him.

I don't really consider anything at workday. I just work when I work and I don't want I don't which is another limitation of the mind that I previously had that I broke. And we went to yoga and then on the way home from yoga, it was like a Tuesday or something, Trevor, I knew he was gonna go back to work from home. And I felt like going to the pool, because it was a beautiful sunny day. And my mind told me, he is gonna go in there and work really, really hard. And you can't just go lay on your house, in the sunshine, and enjoy yourself while he's in there working so hard. And I just noticed my mind saying that. And I noticed my mind trying to make up a rule about what I was allowed or not allowed to do. And then I realized, I don't need to withhold my alignment of going to the pool for fear of what he is going to think about it or feel about it. Whatever he thinks or feels about it is his own alignment. And if that triggers something in me, then that's my own alignment to deal with. So it kind of just like, notice the mind playing that trick me decides I was gonna go to the pool anyways. And then two seconds later, guess what comes out of traverse? He goes, Wow, it's a beautiful day, you should be out of the pool when we get home. Like, Oh, of course, of course, I just had that realization within myself, that I can follow my own alignment. I am free, there are no rules. I can do whatever the fuck I want. And I did it was great. So anyways, I just wanted to share, this is a reminder for you that you know where we're What are you doing? Because you think you have to or you think it's required? Or you think you should? And are you willing to experiment? See what happens when you drop? Like, why would we do anything? We don't enjoy it other than that we think it's required? And is it required? What would happen? If you tried something else? What would happen if you tried something that felt good? And, you know, it's like, I like I was saying it's like Instagram was a big one for my mind just thinking I had to post it had to be on there or else I would not have a successful business. And my inner voice has so clearly guided me to really not spending time posting on Instagram. If I ever feel like posting on Instagram, I think I did. I don't know, a few weeks ago or a month ago, I have no idea. Sometimes I post stories, but I just do it when I want to do it. My inner voice said what it feels joyful, do it when it doesn't you do not ask you. So I've really just been allowing myself to follow that. And guess what, it's great. I did, it was never required. It was never required. And I'm having so many like, just like opportunities coming to me. And ways far beyond what my mind could have gone out there and like gone on an Easter egg hunt to like, grasp and make happen. Just like I'm really allowing, and really letting go. And finding that the more I do that, the more magical experiences and opportunities and aligning things and feel good things into my experience. And so I hope you can feel this energy of the message I'm sharing and I like hope that it allows you to, to go within yourself. And I'm not saying don't go on Instagram, or don't do this or don't do that. Or don't do that I'm saying Do what your inner being calls you to do and let go of the things your inner being is not calling you to do they're only doing because the mind is telling you that you have to. And this is really scary for most people because it's like well as to go to a job and pay the bills or this or that it's like, you don't have to, for most of you listening probably it's like, no one's gonna come like, kill you. If you don't go to work. Yeah, we have these huge stories and these huge emotional weights attached to them that make it feel so real and so true. And so compelling that we must do these things, or else we're going to die or suffer or whatever, like the mind wants to avoid pain and seek approval. And so oftentimes when we're living from that place, we're not living in alignment because we're living from what we think we should be doing in order to avoid pain or, or gain approval. And guess what, you don't have to live that way you get to live from doing the things that feel joyful to you. So I just share this so that you can reflect in your own

life about the and just notice like the limits that you are believing from the mind and start testing that was breaking them and seeing what happens when you do because I think you will be still pleasantly surprised when you do. And here's the thing, if you're having trouble hearing what your inner voice What your intuition what your soul or inner being would have you do, that's usually a sign that there is old stuck emotions and energy. And the way the mind wants to protect the mind wants to preserve itself and its identity. And it's can sometimes almost like put up blockages from hearing the inner voice because it's afraid of the punishments afraid the disapproval, it's afraid of what happens when I go into the unknown. And so that's where an inner voice session can be really, really helpful. Because in those sessions, we release any of those energetic or emotional blockages that are coming up in the now so that you can more clearly hear your inner guidance on that topic. And then you can more easily follow your inner guidance on that topic. Without a buttload of my inner resistance or emotional heaviness attached to it's essentially releasing the emotional heaviness that's attached to the stories and the limits of the mind. Because when you release the emotional heaviness attached to the limits of the mind, they no longer have a grip on you, they no longer have a pull on you, they no longer compelling you and being the things that drive you into action, or inaction. And instead, you're free to actually act or not act from a place of alignment from a place of source from a place of your inner being, and from a place of alignment with who you really are, which is limitless. So that's all for this week. I hope this episode resonated with you. And I'm excited to continue really sharing this journey as it unfolds. And even with this podcast, you might notice like it's probably not coming out on the normal day, the podcasts are normally really because it wasn't the aligning thing to do to record a podcast and like, that's a previous limit my mind had attached to before that the podcast goes out, you know, once a week on the same day. And I'm just assuming starting to feel that I don't have to abide by that limit. Like I'm not just going to make up a topic and conjure up something to say when I don't feel like I have anything to say that would be doing you a disservice. Like I'm going to share what I believe is useful and helpful to share with you. And it's like, why would I do anything otherwise? And it wasn't that I was doing that before before it was the aligning thing to do the podcast every week. And maybe it still will be I don't know. But this week, right now, what I know is that it wasn't flowing. It wasn't aligning, I had nothing I wanted to say. So I didn't make myself say something, even though the mind was like, should you say it sounds like should you record a podcast, your assistant is going to be asking you where is this week's podcast, we're not going to be able to publish on time. And yet, I followed my own alignment. Anyways, I'm Harry, I'm on my walk, recording on my air pods kind of feels like the most easy and effortless and fun and joyful thing I could be doing right now. And I'm so happy to be here recording this. And a mind would have me sit at a desk and have a microphone and make it perfect. My inner voices and care. It's aligning, if it's aligning, and then now it's aligning. And now and it's this is what aligns now. So here I am. And the now. So

if you want to book, an inner voice session, and you want to really deep in this connection, where you're aligned with your intuition, you're aligned with your inner being. And you're dropping the mind from the center, dropping the minds limits, so that you can live freely and joyfully, and also have life unfold and these really juicy miraculous, like, of course, it happened that way. And you can't make this shit up kind of ways. That's really what the inner voice sessions will help you to come into alignment with. So if you feel called to booking one of those sessions, you can go to Madison Arnhold AR n h o l And then go to work with me and then go to inner voice sessions. And I also actually have spaces open in my three month private coaching program where you part of that is getting inner voice sessions. You're also going to get like integration mindset sessions to help you really like trust and apply and integrate everything that's kind of like coming through and then our voice sessions and Voxer so we can be chatting like this not just you listening to me on the podcast, but you being able to voice message me as well with anything that's coming up and kind of working through that in the real now time. So if that calls to you, and you're welcome to go to Madison But thank you so much for listening to this episode. I'm really excited to hear from you how it landed. So feel free to send me I have a message on I don't I, it's like I'm still used the mind is so used to say, send me a message on Instagram. So I'm gonna go ahead and say that message me on Instagram at Madison Darren Hall. I am on there occasionally I will see the message. Eventually I just don't know where else to tell you to call right now. And I do know that I would love to hear from you is this episode resonated. So I will leave it at that.
