Hello, and welcome to the Magnetically You podcast. I'm your host Madison Surdyke, I am a mindset energy coach here to help you feel your freakin best and manifest a life full of magic miracles and abundance. I know that whatever led you here did not happen by coincidence. So I am so excited and grateful to have you here. So let's let the magic begin. So I was talking to one of my friends who's also an entrepreneur. The other day, we were talking about catching up on the last year of life. And she said that she had gone through this really tough time in the past where she was really struggling with PCOS and skin problems. And she had been trying everything, everything, everything, everything, everything, everything, scouring the internet and the world. And we're like, just looking for the answers looking for healing, trying to figure out what the heck do I do, to feel better to heal to clear this out of my life? She was just at this point where she was so frustrated, like, I don't know what else to do. I feel like I've done everything I could. And she was sharing this with her dad. And her dad says, Have you tried not trying? And when she told me the story, my whole body was overcome with like a wave of goosebumps because this question puts into words so perfectly. What has been so supportive for me in so many scenarios where you're coming up against forcing, pushing, struggling, you feel like you're trying to figure it out, figure it out, figure it out, like it was like this, for me booking our honeymoon is another episode about how I manifested our honeymoon, it was the same exact thing where I was like forcing pushing force and pushing her and figure out like this awful, like, I can either keep doing this and feel awful. Or I can trust and allow and hand this over to my inner voice. I can stop trying. So I literally like had this one day where I was like, no boys, I'm handing this over to you. And I just like completely let go of trying. And then of course the perfect honeymoon unfolded. And it was a similar thing for my friend. She was like, holy shit. No, I have not had not a trial. And, you know, I forgot the timeline of her story. But things unfolded in a way where she got better. All the PCOS, my way to health problems went away. And she, you know, felt so much better. And she and she healed from letting go of trying so hard. So we're gonna think about where in your life and how pushing and trying so hard, and it just feels like you're like beating a dead horse. I don't really understand that saying, but you know what I mean? Like, where have you been doing on your life and your business and your career and your relationships? And what would have what might happen? If, if that's not feeling good for you? It's not shifting things for you. If that's not opening up possibilities for you, then what might happen? If you stopped trying? What would it look like? Are you willing to? Are you willing to go? Are you willing to do an experiment with yourself? Can you commit for a week for one week, I am going to let go of drying? I'm going to completely drop all effort all trying all force all pushing, going to drop? figuring it out drop meeting, the answers literally drop it dropped, like dropping like a hot potato. But seriously, like have you tried not trying? And what might happen? If you did? And are you willing to give yourself a chance to see what may unfold when you do that. And I haven't feel like things will unfold in ways better than your mind would have predicted or expected as well, more forcing and pushing and trying so hard to figure things out. By trying to control and cling to what we're attached to instead of a weekend. You know, take a step back, we just are able to hear our inner voice more clearly we're able to see signs more clearly. We stopped strangling our life to be on this one particular path. And we opened up so many more paths that our mind couldn't do before because it was so obsessed with this one path to get from a the answer B and it's like or I could stop trying so hard to get to be and open myself up to what if there's a c d f g and what is it You're better than paid. So that is the message that I want to leave you with this week. This is just a short episode. And the cool thing was, it's like it's so fitting for this episode today, because I really did not feel like recording a podcast episode today. And I was noticing my, my mind telling me you need to do it, you need to do it, you you're gonna, your assistant needs it because you can produce it. And then my inner voice is like, you don't need to do it. You need to do you should do this. Anyways, it was not unfolding. I mean, I kept wanting to push a little bit, I just need to like to sit down and make myself do it. My inner voice was like, you don't need to do that. So anyways, I was like, Okay, I'm not going to, I'm going to drop the podcast, I'm going to try not try to make this podcast happen. And what do I want to do? If I don't have to record this podcast? I'd like to go to a coffee shop. So I've already and I'm on my way to the coffee shop. And I'm just in the car just driving like, Oh, I'm excited to get my coffee. And I said to go shopping. Like what else is gonna happen? While I'm I'll just you know, kind of just like just thinking kind of like, I don't know, just being, I guess you could say, and I yeah, I'm driving. And I started thinking about that conversation with my friend the other day. And I thought to myself, have you turned that trial that was like, holy shit. That's exactly what I needed for this podcast. And I was like, Oh my gosh, that's the podcast. That's the idea. As soon as I let go of trying, it's like this, like very meta description, but or example, the it came to me. And this was so easy. And so flowing. And let's go call my my mind is like you must set up a desk and have your microphones record the podcast, I'm literally on my way to a coffee shop, recording this on my phone in the voice memo. So apologies if the audio sounds great this week. But this is what I allowed to flow and unfolded in a haze so much easier with a much less force is a much less effort was a much more joy was much more fun. And this is the fucking power of listening to you and trusting your inner voice. And if you want to step into more of this flow, more of this trust more of this, life gets to be so juicy and fun. And it gets to unfold in the most miraculous ways when you really listen to you and trust your your inner voice and follow what feels fun and juicy and joyful to you like that's how it gets to be.
