And it's funny because one of the things I'm going to talk about in this episode is just simply asking your inner voice a question, having that dialogue with your inner voice. And that's what I did before the show. I was like inner voice How would you have me ask for reviews. And this, this was what came through. So here we are.
Okay, so let's get into it. I'm going to be talking today about eight ways to connect with your intuition and your voice, your higher self, whatever you like to call it. So the first is, uh, let me rewind a little bit in case you haven't been listening for a while or you don't know much about what I do intuition and an inner voice work is the foundation of the work I do with my clients. It's the foundation of everything in my life and my business and really learning how to listen to and trust my intuition has completely transformed my entire life and it is the most incredible, magnificent thing when we are truly living in alignment with our inner truth, our inner voice our inner guidance, life like the law Literally unfolds in the most miraculous, unbelievable like flowy, juicy, holy fuck and cannot even believe it worked out that good kind of way. And that doesn't mean it's always perfect. And I especially I'm not always perfect, and I'm not always perfectly listening to my intuition, but the more I practice it, the more I get better at it, the more I love my life every day, the more trust I feel with myself, the happier I feel, the more joyful I feel more grounded, more peaceful, more calm, more alive, more fulfilled, more inspired ideas, more creativity, more magic, more miracles, more abundance, like flow into my life opportunities coming out of fucking nowhere in the most magical ways. And it's like, this is the magic of listening to our intuition, because I believe it is our connection to Source divine universe, God, whatever, whatever you believe in it. So we will get into it. First way to tap into your intuition or inner voice, I'm going to use those words interchangeably. So use whatever word you like, it really doesn't matter. Okay, so the first one is to get out of your head and into your body. So when we are swimming in the mind, a bunch of mental chatter, and you know that feeling where you're like, your head feels like heavy and clogged and like cloudy and foggy and you just like, feel like you like can't think straight, it's because we have too much energy, too much thinking going on in the head. And we're identifying too closely with our thoughts, to where we really can't even hear our own truth, because we're like swirling around in a tornado of thoughts. So our connection, our body is really our, our vessel and our connection to our intuition. So when we can get out of our head, and drop into our body, be in our body embodied in our body,
we really, really open up the door to connect with our intuition. This is why a lot of times when people are in the shower, they have intuitive downloads or ideas because something about you know, being in the shower for a lot of people with the water running over them, it just kind of like it almost like this is like an energy of like washing away their thoughts. And they feel the water on their body, there's a warmth on their body, right, they're just more in their body. That's why so there's so many different ways that you can do this dancing is incredible on working out, going for a walk, just moving the body, standing up and shaking with the intention of getting out of the head and into the body. Breathing and just feeling into the body doing a body scan from the top of your head to the tip of your toes, just tuning into the sensations that are present really feeling what's there becoming aware of what's there coming into your body. And my favorite way the with an s because there's multiple as ever way to get out of the head and into the body is through ritual. So for me my one of my absolute favorite is meditation like it is absolutely changed my life to become someone who meditates most days EFT, tapping, hypnosis, visualization, all the rituals that are inside ritual Queen are so powerful for this. And that's why I created ritual clean because I recognize these tools that we have that can support us so effectively and getting out of our head and into our body and really connecting in with that in our truth and our bliss and our joy. And so, these are some of the most powerful rituals that I have found to really connect me and with my intuition and not just connected with my intuition, but to feel so much more at peace grounded, joyful. So that is number one getting out of the head and into the body. Like I said, you can join ritual Queen you can work out you can dance, there are so many different ways like so it's really tuning into what for you supports you and getting out of your head and into your body. You know when you're you've just feel clear you feel open you feel like you feel like an open channel. There's like this open clear feeling. What gives you that feeling and can you how can you do More of that, for me, it is like, hands down. Movement and ritual, like those are the two things that just like, support me so powerfully. And that the second way to tap into your intuition is journaling. So, there, I mean, there's just like a million things I could share, but I will keep it. Keep it simple and to the point, a very, very simple, easy way, if you want to do a meditation before to really ground yourself to help you and support you. And kind of like turning off that mental chatter and opening up that channel. That's a great way to kind of prime yourself for the journaling. But it's not required. So I would just, if you're not, if you're not going to do a meditation, I would take a moment to just take a deep inhale. And exhale. And just do this with me now actually, as you're listening to the podcast, big inhale through the nose.
Exhale. Okay, so journaling. So doing this deep breathing, setting the intention to connect then, and you can write the question or just kind of like, ask it in your head or ask it out loud, and then start writing the response. So you can ask in our voice, what do you want me to know today? What would you have me do today? Or if there's something in particular you're struggling with, you can ask specifically about that. So what do you what do you think or feel or know about this inner voice? If it was up to you? What would you do next? What do I need to know to move forward? What have you been trying to tell me that my mind has been resisting and just right, see what wants to come through listen and allow, allow your body to lead the way allow your hand to lead the way and really again, like dropping out of the head and into the body a really fun way to visualize that. As you can imagine, there's like an elevator inside your mind. You hop on the elevator and press the floor down and you just drop down into your heart or into your gut wherever you feel like you hear your inner voice that can just be a helpful way to kind of like, drop in and listen. And then just write whatever comes through. And if you're worrying about whether or not it's Is this my intuition, is it not? That's your mind worrying. So that worrying part is not your intuition. So see if you can just let it come through and trust that you'll get better and better, you will get more and more clear on whether or not it's your intuition. And I probably will record an episode soon on how to tell the difference between if it's your mind or your intuition, because that's a whole other topic. Okay, so journaling. So those are just some of the questions you can ask in your journal. But really, it's it's about you, your life, your intuition, so you can ask any questions that you want and just see what comes through. The third way is mirror talk. So this one might be like, Oh, that's weird, or that's uncomfortable, if you're not used to, like conversating with yourself in the mirror. This is actually something I learned, like mirror work is something I learned from Natalia Benson, who is an incredible human, I love her. But she really teaches mirror work, especially from the lens of like self love, and kind of like, affirming to yourself and even like hugging yourself in the mirror and saying, I'm proud of you. I love you. I'm proud of you, I love you. So that's kind of what I learned from her. And it's a really, really vulnerable, but transformational practice. And I started doing it in the last year with my inner voice. So I'll stand in front of the mirror and I'll say in her voice, what do you want me to know today? What would you have me do today? So the same kind of questions I talked about for journaling, you can use those same questions for mirror talk. So instead of journaling, you're just talking to yourself in the mirror. The third or the fourth way is you can do a voice memo with your inner voice. So this is one of my favorite things to do. And I actually did this yesterday. So I'll go on a walk and I'll have my headphones on and I'll start a voice memo recording on my phone. And I will just start asking my inner voice questions. Whatever is on my mind to ask, ask those kind of like generic questions like shared for the journaling. Like what do you want me to know today? What would you have me do? And yesterday on my walk I was just feeling this sense of wanting to like grip onto the future like wanting to know what's going to happen like what's going to happen. How's this gonna work out? Is this gonna work? I don't know what's gonna happen a little a little a little. A grain was like he feeling like cloggy overwhelming feeling. She was like Oh, That's, that's my inner voice what it has to say on this topic. And so I just started asking like inner voice, what do you want me to know about this and for a lot of it was like, breathe and allow, breathe and allow breathing a lot, like, came through so many times. So that was fun. And then the one thing that like really like, my whole body, like an energy just like shifted like that was when my inner voice said something along the lines of like, release the need for certainty. I felt like a huge just like, exhale, my whole body softened, it was like, oh, it's safe to release the need for certainty, I can let go of needing to have it all figured out, I can let go of needing to know how this is gonna unfold, I can let go of needing it to happen in this certain way I can let go of like strangling the outcome. And I can, I can let go and I can allow.
And it's like, it's one thing if I, if you told me like I'm struggling with, like, not knowing how things are gonna unfold, I'm kind of feeling anxious about it. And I told you just let go and allow, you'd be like, Yeah, fuck off. Probably, if it was me that that made me I mean, that wouldn't actually be my response. But in my head, I might, I might think, like, Yeah, fuck off, like, this is how I feel. But when you hear it from your inner voice, it's a different experience, because you experience in your body. So it wasn't just hearing, let go and allow like, oh, cool, I was actually like feeling the truth of that in my body. And I was able to completely just shift and let go and come back into that inner sense of peace and trust. So that is number four, doing a voice memo, with your inner voice. And the cool thing is, you can go back and listen, if you want to. The fifth way to tap into your intuition is to hand it over, hand it over to your inner voice. So whenever your mind is like looping and spinning about something, and you like, need to figure it out, but you like, feel like you can't figure it out. And you don't know what to do. But you want to know what to do, and you're trying to figure out what to do, and you got to figure it out, you're gonna figure it out, figure it out, figure it out, and you're spinning and spinning and spinning, spinning, spinning, and you know, it's not productive anymore, you know, like, no more amount of spinning and thinking is going to get you to the answer is going to get you to this solution is going to get you to figuring it out, quote, figuring it out. So you can decide, like, this is no longer mine to control or worry about like inner voice, I'm handing this over to you. I'm giving it over to you. And just really allow yourself to energetically feel yourself letting go as you say these words. And I promise you like the guidance comes through every single time when I do this and it might not be immediately that's the thing is you're you're handing it over for your inner voice to deliver to you. The answer the solution, that guidance at the time that is in your highest good. So when I was planning our honeymoon, it was like two months before the wedding. And I was like, well, we probably should have a honeymoon booked. And then I was like, oh my god, we should probably have it. We'd both like it since you bought for any deal to get a new thing. Sorry. It's like frantically like researching one Saturday, I've spent like eight hours on the computer, researching where to go. It's very overwhelming. I felt awful afterwards. I'm like, I can't believe I just spent eight hours
of my weekend doing this shit. So I was like, Okay, I could really feel that my mind wanting wanted to figure it out wanted to push wanting to force wanting to control. And I was like, Okay, I don't want to do this is not how I want to do this, I want this to feel a lot better. I want this to flow a lot easier. And I want this to come to me. So I set the intention of like, I want a recommendation from a friend that I trust of where to go and want to do so that literally just like falls in my lap and it's done and it's easy. And I don't have to like read a bunch of reviews trying to figure out like if it's a legit place like I don't actually know like I want a recommendation from a friend. So I kind of set the intention of what I wanted. And then I literally sat on the couch and I think I said out loud when I was like alright inner voice like I'm handing this over to you please guide me to the perfect honeymoon please guide me to where we're meant to go. Please guide me to the friend who's going to recommend this amazing, incredible place please guide me to something that's in alignment with how much we want to spend. And I was like I'm handing this over to you and I just really felt that was like I'm done. I'm I am letting go. This is yours now to figure out inner voice. Thanks. And I was talking to one of my friends When's the next day? Within a day or two? And I was like, Oh my gosh, like she recently like, had her wedding and the last year like, I can't believe I haven't asked her where she went for a honeymoon. So I had a ping, I had the ping come through from my interface to Oscar. And she told me I looked it up, it looks perfect. We like really wanted to go to Mexico, and it was in Mexico. So we went to Cabo is like, literally the most incredible place I've ever stayed. It was just so perfect. The food was amazing vibe was amazing. And literally checked every box, it was like, just absolutely perfect. And then I called, I booked it and even better, my inner voice went up to me. And apparently, the way that this you know, resort works is they work with travel agents, so I got this amazing place recommended to me. But then I had this travel agent who did everything for us and plan does dinner reservations and activities and the whole works. And yeah, I think I recorded an episode on how I manifested the perfect honeymoon. That's, that would be a fun episode to go listen to let me see. Really quick. I'm gonna tell you what episode.
All right, I'm not seeing it. I could have sworn. Okay, whatever. It's there. It's an episode. It's probably a few before this, how I manifested our perfect honeymoon, something along those lines. So you can listen to that? And, yes, so handing it over to your inner voice. Very, very powerful. Number six, how to tap into your intuition is to act on what's already come through. This will strengthen and invite in more. So what what guidance Have you already received, that you haven't acted on? What have you been feeling pulled to, that you've been avoiding? What do you know in your heart is meant for you or that you're meant to do that you're holding yourself back from doing call on the courage within you and do it, even if it makes no logical sense to the mind of your feeling that pull in your heart, from your intuition. Act on what's already come through, because the less we like, bury the nudges and ignore them and push them to the side and actually allow ourselves to listen to them, trust them and act on them. We like it like really just like turns on this like momentum and magnetism for more guidance to come through. And more opportunities, more abundance, more magic, more miracles. So I have a feeling that will shift that for you as well. Number seven, is to create space. So if you are busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy, busy running around it, doing the dishes, doing work, doing this doing now all things all day long, and there's no space, you're gonna have a hard time hearing your inner voice. So maybe take a weekend off of social media, I did that recently, it was very transformation on I actually have a calendar reminder, once a month, I'm going to take away an entire weekend, completely off of social media. So take a social media detox, get the fuck off. If it's draining your energy, or if you're noticing you're spending more time than you want on it, like, take the break, you will be so glad you did. take time off work. Say notice some things like whatever it is for you that you need to do to create some space, even physically in your environment, like clean out old clothes, like declutter your space, like clear that energy in your space. And that's actually one of the rituals inside of energy rehab, which is one of the programs and ritual queen. That would be if you want to like kind of like dive more into these practices. And you're like, Oh, where do I start? Like, I wish there was like just a thing I could just like, follow and it would be easy energy rehab is a really great place to start. check that out. But basically, the inner voice sessions are really just a guided way to do everything I've talked about today. So instead of like putting on a voice memo, and asking yourself the questions and doing it yourself or doing it yourself in your journal, you kind of have a like, I serve as as the guidance of question asker as a facilitator, so you really just get to like, lean back, relax, and listen. So it's a really, really powerful and profound experience. And part of the inner voice sessions is also releasing old stuck energy and emotion. So when we clear those away, we again, get out of our head into our body, clear away what's brought blocking us from listening and hearing our intuition open up the channel, as those questions receive that guidance, like, it's just gonna say, the most streamlined way to do it. But I wouldn't say These lessons are streamlined, like they're not, you know, they're not like a mental step by step logical process. But that's the whole point. So if you'd like to do an inner voice session, that is an incredibly powerful way to build and strengthen the connection with your inner intuition and really tap in and it's great, especially if you're, you know, if you have any specific questions, like, one question I asked my inner voice that was really transformational for me was like, When should I quit my corporate job? You can ask like, should I switch careers? Or how can I make my work better? Or how can I call in new clients in my business? What is it that I'm really meant to help people with? How am I meant to support people? How can I grow my business? How can I better my relationship with my partner, like, you can literally ask anything, and you will receive guidance from your own inner voice from your own intuition. And I believe that again, it's our, our intuition, our inner voices, our connection to Source to divine to what is in our highest good. And when we're connecting to that listening to that, it's just again, it's like, oh, it just feels so good. And life really unfolds in really, really, really beautiful ways.
